365 Cards - Day 55 - Card Recipe

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is a Recipe.
Wouldn't it be nice if you just had a simple recipe to follow that only allowed for variation in colors/patterns?
Here's the recipe for this card:
5x5 card (solid colored card stock - may be smooth or textured)
4x4 patterned paper (you may alter the edges if you'd like)
1 shape (circle, square, star, heart, etc.) - must be solid color
3 jewels
alpha stickers
That's it! Nothing more. Can it be done, and done well?

I did struggle with this challenge a bit due to not owning a lot of alpha stickers and trying to find paper to match the few that I did have.

My Recipe
Bazzill cardstock used for the base card
Patterned Paper - I am afraid I do not know the brand as I had cut the strip off when I previously used it. - I inked the edges of the paper.
Bazzill cardstock for the Circle
Kaisercraft jewels placed in the centre of 3 flowers on the patterned paper.
Misc Stickers - I had trouble with this because I don't buy alpha stickers, but I did purchase a cheap mini album which had these alpha stickers in it - saved the day.

Have a nice day and happy crafting.

Hi Fi,

You and I had the same difficulty chick. I don't use alpha stickers a lot and the ones I had I then had to match paper to lol. Too funny. But I absolutely love your patterned paper Fi, I have a weakness for paisley.

This is so elegant!! I love it! Great job on pulling this together. I'm like you - I don't really use stickers for my cards, so I had to dig to find some alphas for this challenge!

oh Fi, this is really fabulous! I LOVE that gorgeous paper. Of course it doesn't hurt to be my fav. colors either ; ) and i think a lot of us don't use alphas much. i spend my money on stamps first which means there is never any left for stickers! great job.
and thanks for all your visits and sweet comments this week. i love hearing from you!!
