I did struggle with the challenge, I tried hand stitching but that did not work so I turned to my sewing machine and stitched the stems of the flowers - I have not put a sentiment on the card as yet because I am not sure what to use it for - maybe Thank You or Get Well or Thinking of You???

I hope my machine stitching image counts for the challenge.

1 5x5 Card
1 Rub-on image

I do apologize for the long - long post.

Day 123 - White Space

If you live in the US, then I want to see Red, White, and Blue on your card - that's it, only those colors, in honor of the American flag!!
Now, if you don't live here, but you want to use those colors, then please do. Otherwise, show some love for your home country by using your nation's colors.
I used the colour scheme - Red, White & Blue

365 Cards - Day 119 - Seeing a Silhouette & SAS Challenge #21

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is to create a silhouette of an image on your card. This might require some fussy cutting or coloring in a stamped image...

Ok - I cheated on this one - I did not have a silhouette stamp and I cannot even cut a straight line with a ruler so I turned to my cricut - I cut the girl from the New Arrival Cartridge and cut her belly off a bit - so I suppose I did do a bit of fancy cutting. LOL

Paper - Pink Petticoat & Funky Fairy's
Ribbon & Sentiment - Misc from stash.
Rhinestone - Kaisercraft

TFS

365 Cards - Day 100 - Manic Monday & Day 101 - Fun With Food: Veggies

I started my card for Day 100 last night and I thought I would finish it off this morning before my DD woke up but that did not happen because I went to let the chickens out for the day and noticed a car parked in our bottom paddock (I live on 18 acres), it had come off the road and went straight through the fence, so I spent half an hour looking for my horse in that paddock and finally found her - so I did not get to finish the card, but now I have and here it is:

Day 100 - Manic Monday
Pam said: To quote one of my favorite 80's bands, The Bangles, "It's just another manic Monday...
"But in this case, I don't mean something stressful - rather, I challenge you to use 5 bold colors on your card: RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, and BLUE - No pastels!

Cardstock - DCWV - Whitecore
Paper - DCWV - Nana's Kids
Image - Pink Petticoat

Day 101 - Fun With Food: Veggies

Today's challenge is Fun With Food: Veggies, Pam said it's as simple as it sounds, just create a card with a veggie (or two or three...) on it. And for extra fun, this challenge is being sponsored by Crop Stop.
The only Veggie paper I had was the Mushroom paper from DCWV - The Green Stack.
Cardstock - DCWV - WhiteCore
Raindots - Kaisercraft
Photo Corners - Jasmine Cricut Cart
Large Mushroom - I actually scanned the paper into my computer and cropped and resized it and cut it out in the DCWV WhiteCore Cardstock.
