365 Cards - Day 134 - Super Sketchy Sunday

Day 134 - Super Sketchy Sunday
Today is Super Sketchy Sunday and the start of Shortcuts Week, which means we are to create our card around the above sketch and if we create a card each day we will go into the draw for a prize donated by Shortcuts.
I needed a baby boy card and did not want to make it in the traditional colours of baby blue and white, so I thought I would use Pam's sketch to create the card - I do think it needs something in the corners of the triangle - if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I can't believe I have finished and posted my card for today's challenge already. LOL
Today's challenge is to think of bubbles and how they might inspire our card. When I think of bubbles I think of a bubble bath.

DP - Free from Craft Magazine (It is actually snow from a Christmas Pack, but I think it looks a bit like bubbles)

Day 129 - You Have Me in Stitches

Today's challenge was to stitch an image on our card. Not just around the outside of the card, but an actual image. A flourish DOES count, since these are typically quite detailed. I did struggle with the challenge, I tried hand stitching but that did not work so I turned to my sewing machine and stitched the stems of the flowers - I have not put a sentiment on the card as yet because I am not sure what to use it for - maybe Thank You or Get Well or Thinking of You???

I hope my machine stitching image counts for the challenge.

Happy 4th of July to all the American 365er's.

Well I have finally caught up on the last 3 card challenges as well as today's - Yippee.
I do apologize for the long - long post.

Day 123 - White Space

The challenge: Well, we've had a white space challenge before, but this time, Pam asked us to direct all the decorations to the blacked-out areas in the above Sketch. That means absolutely NOTHING in the white space!!

I cut a hinge with my Cricut using the Fabulous Finds cartridge and placed it between the DP and card on the front and back and placed a ribbon through it to close/tie - I hope this counts for the challenge.

Day 126 - Show Your True Colours
Happy 4th of July

Today's challenge: Pam said: Today, in the USA, we are celebrating the birth of our nation. I am happy to tell you that I am in Minnesota celebrating with friends and family in my hometown. If you live in the US, then I want to see Red, White, and Blue on your card - that's it, only those colors, in honor of the American flag!!
Now, if you don't live here, but you want to use those colors, then please do. Otherwise, show some love for your home country by using your nation's colors.
