365 Cards - Day 56 - See Through Saturday

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is See Through Saturday.
Here is what Pam had to say about the challenge:
How about an acrylic (clear) card? I love when I come across these on other blogs, so I thought we'd give it a try.
So here's the challenge: Use it as the card base - front, back, or all - otherwise anything goes.
CHALLENGE - It was a big challenge for me, I have never made one before so it was another first for me - Thank You Pam - you are really taking me out of my comfort zone - LOL.
This is the card I came up with - I think I should have left the stampin circles off the front of the card and I might add bling to the outside circle?
I used my Nestabilites for the shapes

365 Cards - Day 55 - Card Recipe

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is a Recipe.
Wouldn't it be nice if you just had a simple recipe to follow that only allowed for variation in colors/patterns?
Here's the recipe for this card:
5x5 card (solid colored card stock - may be smooth or textured)
4x4 patterned paper (you may alter the edges if you'd like)
1 shape (circle, square, star, heart, etc.) - must be solid color
3 jewels
alpha stickers
That's it! Nothing more. Can it be done, and done well?

I did struggle with this challenge a bit due to not owning a lot of alpha stickers and trying to find paper to match the few that I did have.

My Recipe
Bazzill cardstock used for the base card
Patterned Paper - I am afraid I do not know the brand as I had cut the strip off when I previously used it. - I inked the edges of the paper.
Bazzill cardstock for the Circle
Kaisercraft jewels placed in the centre of 3 flowers on the patterned paper.
Misc Stickers - I had trouble with this because I don't buy alpha stickers, but I did purchase a cheap mini album which had these alpha stickers in it - saved the day.

Have a nice day and happy crafting.

365 Cards - Day 54 - Recycled Elements

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is Recycled Elements - We were challenged to recycle at least one thing and add it to our card. We were asked to look around and see if we can find something that might not ordinarily be used on a card. I am not sure if my card fits the challenge description.
I used a muesli bar box for the base of the card and the tag.
100% Recycled Double Sided Cardstock from K&Company for the flowers.
Recycled & Biodegradable Twine - from my DH gardening supplies.
See D's Stamp - Cabana
I used nestabilities for the flowers and then sanded the edges.

And my last recycled element was the light box I took the photo of the card in - I made it out of an empty Nappy Box and cutting one side out and added some Picture Framing Backboard around the sides and a halogen lamp.

Have a nice day.
