365 Cards - Day 86 - This Will Be Grape Fun

Have you guessed today's challenge by the title? We could use grapes on our card, but we did not have to. However, we could use purple as the primary color, and incorporate at least 5 circles on our card, that is what I did as I did not have any grapes. The picture is not all that good on the colour front - the cardstock & papers are actually purple and green.

Paper - Heidi Grace - Vinyard Paper Pack
Cardstock - Bazzill and DCWV
HAPPY - Cricut - Pooh & Friends Font - Marker
Birthday - Stamp by Cristina Rie

I still have not completed yesterday's challenge - I best get onto that.

Have a nice day and happy crafting.

I made this card for my nephew who is going into the Australian Navy, all the paper is by Kaisercraft.

Day 84 - Card Recipe #2

Today's challenge is the second of its kind. Pam provided a "recipe" and then we are to create a card using ONLY what is listed among the "ingredients".
Here's the recipe:

1 stamped sentiment
and NO PATTERNED PAPER!
Sorry about the photo - I could not get a good shot of this card at all.

365 Cards - Day 75, 76 & 77

Day 75 - Imagine This: Coffee

Day 75's challenge was another Imagine This challenge, and you could either use an image of coffee (cup, beans, etc.) or let an image of it inspire your card.

Day 76 - Four Corners

Day 76's challenge was ~Keep the embellishments in the corners of the card~
And don't leave any corner bare!! Pam said - I know it will be easier said than done, but you'll see that looking at Sophie's card, it can be done. I suppose that it would be good to specify what I am referring to when I say embellishments, just so we're all on the same page. Brads, buttons, ribbon, rhinestones and jewels, stickers, etc. should stay in the corners. Paper, stamped images and anything printed directly on the card stock are acceptable in the center of the card.

Day 77 - Make A Note Of It

Day 77's challenge was to incorporate note paper on your cards, otherwise anything goes.

Sorry about the photo's, it is past midnight here in Queensland, Australia where I live so the lighting is not all that good for taking photo's.
Hopefully I will be able to keep on top of the challenges this week instead of doing catch ups.
Now I am off to comment on all the cards from the past 3 challenges - I wonder if I will get to bed this morning. LOL
Have a nice day and happy crafting.

The Res-Q-Challenge - Poor White Trash

This is my first entry for Res-Q-Challenge.

The challenge today at Res-Q-Challenge - Trashy Tuesday we were asked to find our inner white trash.
The Challenge:
Think back to when we first started stamping...we didn't have all the latest and greatest gadgets, embellishments, and accessories. I was always looking for ways to add some pizazz to my cards. For this week's challenge I want you to roll up your sleeves and find your inner white trash.Your challenge is to make a card that must include a tattered piece of white cardstock as your background...for mine, I spritzed a piece with water and crumpled in into a ball and worked it until it was distressed to my liking. You can tear yours, crumple it, stomp on it, run it over with the car...as long as it's tattered somehow. There's also a catch...you cannot use any modern embellishments or tools (punches are ok but no added bling, rhinestones, cuttlebug/nesties, dewdrops, etc.); keep it simple...you're limited to using only image stamp and one sentiment.
I just scrunched my White Trash and attached it to the card and I also distressed the black background as well.
Have a nice day and happy crafting.

Paper Blooms - Challenge #7 - All Wrapped Up

This weeks challenge at Paper Blooms is to use ribbon, trim or lace as a main focal point.
This is one of those cards that you picture better in your head than the way it turned out, but anyway that happens.
Have a great day and happy crafting.
